The father of Yasser Al Zahrani, one of the two Saudis that died at the beginning of the month in the prison at Guantanamo asserted that the corpse of his son presents contusions in his body, which makes him affirm that he was strangled instead of having committed suicide, as the United States authorities have said.

"There are marks un Yasser's body that show he was beaten," said Talal Abdullah Al Zahrani accoding to the newspaper Arab News.

Al Zahrani added that he has seen parts of his son's body in the Shumaisy hospital at Riyadh, including his head, his face, and his chest.

North Americans extracted, during the autopsies, the organs of the bodies, and now it is very difficult to determine the cause of death.

Last Saturday, North American authorities returned to Riyadh the bodies of Yasser and of Manie Shaman Al-Utaibi, another Saudi, in addition to a third Yemeni prisoner also found dead in his cell.

Yasser's family has rejected the results of the autopsy carried out by the North Americans, which concluded that the prisoners had committed suicide.

They have issued a call for a neutral entity to carry out another autopsy.

In addition to this, North Americans have extracted, during the autopsies, the organs from the bodies, so that now it is very difficult to determine the cause of death, according to Clarín.
