Testimonies about the tap water in cells

During the last week of March 2013, Guantánamo prisoners were denied their usual bottled water and told to drink the tap water in their cells. Testimony that such water is not potable has been given by Hospital Corpsman Daniel Lakebacher:

The following testimonies corroborate Mr. Lakebacher's declaration.

According to Mr. Madhwani's statement mentioned above (see par. 26), an official at Guantánamo told him that bottled water was a privilege that was withdrawn because of the prisoners' hunger strike.
